The Lee's: March 2012

Walker is growing like a weed. He is doing so many new things. He is such a hoot! We've had a lot going on lately, hence my lack in blogging! Walker just got over RSV about two weeks ago. That was pretty awful. He was such a trooper, though. While at the doctor, we talked about tubes....we then met with an ENT. The ENT agreed, and we are getting tubes Monday. Hopefully this will help little bud not have as many sinus infections. Along with RSV, Walk has been cutting his molars....all four! Bless his heart. Two molars have come in, and now we are working on our cuspids. Those are painful!

Walker now weighs 28 pounds! We might break the 30 mark before he turns 1! He is wearing 24 month clothes! Ha! He is a chunk! (But the cutest chunk around town.)

We just got back from a two day trip with Jessica and Piper to New Orleans. We went to visit the Aquarium and the Zoo. Walk loved the Aquarium, but the Zoo was a total hit! He was pointing at EVERYTHING! At one point, we were looking at a bear, and I swear he said the word bear. (Of course, this is after me repeating bear to him about 20 times.) It was probably just a "ba", but to me it was bear. Melted my heart.

Walk also discovered that he loves staring at himself in the mirror on our trip to NOLA. Hilarious! He would make faces, smile, and then crack up. This afternoon, while in the bath, he saw himself in the metal below the faucet! He thought he was just the best lookin' thing he has ever seen. He can't take his eyes off himself!

We are really enjoying this sweet boy. I can't believe he is almost 1! I can remember the day his sweet face came into this world. I'm not quite sure I'm ready for this birthday. I guess I have a few weeks to prepare myself. ;)
