Little Walker Man

Walker is such a cutie! Last night Walker and I went out to eat with a few of my friends from work. We had great fun. Walker had so much fun that he passed out at 7:30 and didn't wake up until 5 hours later! Sweet baby! Here are a few pics of Walker from last night and today.....

11 Weeks Today!

Walker is a growing boy! He is 11 weeks old today. I can't believe he is almost 3 months old. It seems like yesterday we were holding him in the hospital! I was able to weigh Walker today at  his doctor's office. He weighs a whoppin' 14 pounds. (Almost 15, but I can't remember how many ounces they told me!) We have a chunky monkey! Or, as my family would call it, a Buddha baby!

Yesterday Walker spent a little time with Nana while I went to get my name changed. I know, I should have done this by now since we will have been married 3 years in July. I knew it was going to be a huge headache....and I was right!

Walker had a great day yesterday. We took a few pictures to show you!

Walker was hilarious yesterday. He was all smiles and yells! He has started making noises that sound like he is yelling. Once he gets going, he doesn't stop. He has found his voice! Walker has also started doing really well during tummy time on his changing table. He doesn't like to do it anywhere else. Goofy! I am having so much fun with little squirt. Last night Tyler had a date night! We went shopping and then out to eat. The food was delicious! Walker got to spend time with his Nana and Pop Pop. He had so much fun. Here are a few pics of the night.

Sweet Baby

Yesterday was a great day. I got a new rug for our den! I love it! (Walker does too!) We spent the day with Mama (Aka, Nana). We love spending time with her. She makes our day so much brighter! After shopping, Walker and I played and watched Beauty and the Beast. Walker loved the movie. When I turned it on, his eyes got so big! Then, he started kicking like crazy and squealing! It was absolutely hilarious! I am really enjoying finding out more and more things about my sweet baby.

I have been researching on things that could help make tummy time easier for Walker. He is not too keen on spending time on his tummy. One thing I read was to put him on his tummy after changing his diaper on his changing pad. This was because it is on higher ground and gives him more to look at. I also read that a lot of babies like tummy time naked. Soooo, we tried both this morning! Walker did so much better. He enjoyed it so much that he peed all over his changing pad! =) God love him!

Tonight Tyler and I are going on a date! Nana and Pop are getting to babysit. They are beside themselves. Walker is going to have a blast. I am going to hand over the camera to see what kinds of pictures they take! Stay tuned tomorrow for the adventures at the Gilmer house!

 Tummy time!

Loves his play gym. Walker has really started grabbing for things. Every once in a while he will really get a hold of something. This is super exciting to Walker!

I am so proud of my lil' Booger!

 As you know, we have been working really hard to get Walker to sleep in his crib at night and for naps. Well.........he did it! I am pumped! He has slept in his crib for 2 nights! The first night I didn't get hardly any sleep. (about 3 hours) I couldn't stop going in his room to peep at him. =) Last night went much smoother. Walker went to bed at 9, woke up at 2 to eat, and then slept until 6:30! His mama was a happy mother this morning! Walker also took 2 naps in his crib yesterday. We really hope this continues!
