Memorial Day Fun

Yesterday Walker and I spent the day together hanging out at the house. I always enjoy this precious time with him, especially now that he is starting to become more aware of his surroundings. We are really enjoying play time on his mat. I love watching him smile and kick like a mad man when he gets excited!

Last night we went to a friend's house for a cookout. Walker spent the whole afternoon/night outside and was the happiest little thing! I don't think he made a peep the whole time! We are so happy that we have a social baby! Here is a picture of him on his way to the cookout.....the hat is way too big, but we don't have a lot right now that can protect his head in the sun.

Such a cutie patootie!

Life with my Sweet Little Man

This weekend was wonderful. We had family in town! My aunt, uncle, and cousins from Texas came to visit. We don't get to see them often, so it was great to visit. While we were hanging out, I thought about how it would be nice to set up a blog so our out of town family could keep up with Walker and his adventures! (Or more like my crazy adventures right now!) So....here we are! I would like to start a "365 Days of Walker". I'm going to try (key word, try) to post a picture of Walker every day of something we did, or something exciting that happened that day with a little note of explanation. We'll see if I actually find the time to do this! I plan on starting tomorrow! Stay tuned!

Until then, here are a few things about Walker and what he has been up to so far...
At our last doctor's visit Walker weighed 9 pounds and 9 oz. (He's gained 2 pounds and 2 oz since we left the hospital.)
He is 22 inches long! He has looooong legs!
He eats 5 ounces every 4 hours!
He has outgrown his newborn clothes! We are now in 0 to 3 months outfits!
He loves taking a bath.
We don't go anywhere without his paz (passifier).
He has finally started smiling and laughing at things. This melts our hearts!
He is his happiest outside looking around.
He has curly hair! It looks like he has wings!
He makes the sweetest little noises I've ever heard.
We absolutely adore this little man. I don't know what we did for entertainment before he came along! I can't wait to see what this sweet little boy has in store for us!
