Good News

We've gotten loads of good news these past two days. We found out that Walker's tumor was benign without a doubt. We also found out that Grandaddy's PET scan came back showing no more cancer. Fabulous news!

And....my phone started working again! Big smile for that one.

Walker decided that since we aren't worried about his tumor anymore, we are moving on to new things..........TEETHING! Whoo hooo.............it has been interesting these past two days.

We can't wait to see what these teeth look like.

I also finished sewing my first outfit for Walker! Yay for me!

Dear, Oh, Dear

I can tell I am getting frazzled! It has been one thing after the other the past two days!

Leaving Walker during the day has been soooo hard! (He is in great hands though.) It's difficult to go from spending all day with him to only a few hours.

I also dropped my wonderful, brand new phone in a cup of water. (Water and my phones don't mix.) The last phone I had survived many dips in many watery destinations (toilet, cups, bathtub.....and multiple times), but this one didn't make it. So sad. So now I'm back to my yucky old phone that can barely hold a charge. Feel sorry for me. ;(

On a happier note, Tyler's cousin just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Brooks. 8 pounds and 1 ounce. We can't wait to meet him!

Tomorrow I am starting a new hobby. I am determined to learn how to sew. I have acquired a sewing machine. Mama is coming over to teach me. (Uh, oh, this could end dangerously. If you know me well, you know I don't take directions from others easily.) I'm hoping to learn how to make a few little outfits for Walker. Tune in to see how this goes!

First day at his Mimi's

Walker went to Mimi's (the woman taking care of him while I'm at work) today! I was so sad to drop him off. He did so well.

Mimi's daughter fed him his first bottle. So sweet! He even took a nap in his pack n' play. (This is a miracle in itself.)

I am so proud of my little man. I worked extra hard in my classroom to have it set up, ready to go in ONE day! Whoooo hoooo! Shows what a little motivation will do for ya.

I was so ready to pick up my sweet baby. I couldn't get there fast enough. I don't think I gave him enough kisses when I picked him up either.

He had so much fun while he was there! He was passed out for an hour and a half when we got home.

Bath time was even more special tonight. It is really hard to go to work and then only have a few little hours with him because of his early bedtime. Sooooo.....I gave in and am letting him sleep until his next feeding at 9 in his bouncy seat in the living room, just so I can look at him. =)

Walker is 3 Months!

Can you believe it?

Walker is:

16 pounds and 5 ounces!

25 inches long.

Wearing size 2 diapers.

Wearing 3 to 6 months clothes.

Playing with his bottle constantly while he eats. I think he is getting close to holding it by himself. He can hold it every once in a while, but usually pulls it out after a little bit.

Smiling constantly! Giggling constantly!

Pushing up at a 90 degree angle when he is on his stomach.

HATES tummy time. We have to work on this!

Loves his lovey and his blue binky blanket. When you give them to him, he instantly pulls them to his face to cuddle.

Taking naps in his swing.

Sleeping in his crib at night.

Waking up at least 2 times at night to eat. Mama is sleepy, but loves spending this time with him!

Eating 6 ounces every 3 to 4 hours.

Trying really hard to sit up. He tries to pull himself up while he is laying down or in his bouncy seat. He also knows when it is time to burp and tries to pull himself up! So funny!

Loves his pacis. He will only take a mam pacifier though.

When he is fighting sleep at night, we put a hand on his chest (and a paci in the mouth!), he calms right down.

Still having to be swaddled at night because he flops around so much.

Listens to music while he naps. I found a Pandora station called "Lullaby" that he listens to.

Loves his hands. He eats them constantly.

Making Mama and Daddy so happy.

Walker is constant entertainment for us. We literally sit in the floor and just play all day! Love this little man!

Walker's new toy. He loves it!

Our Sweet Boy

Walker's surgery went great. The surgeon felt of the mass and said it was a fatty tumor that is 99% of the time benign. This was great news! We are just waiting for the pathology report to make sure.

After Walker's surgery we noticed that he was having a little difficulty breathing. We went to his pediatrician which said that he had a striders cough. This was caused by the breathing tube used during his surgery. Little man had to have a breathing treatment, shot, and meds! Poor baby can't catch a break.

Walker is breathing much better now. He is back to his healthy little self. We are so happy to have him feeling well.

 Before surgery.
Waking up later that afternoon for his first full bottle.
So happy to have little man awake!
